Levels of Giving

Director’s Council: The Directors Council is made up of the core of our top donors who want a closer relationship with the organization and provide the critical funds we need to be responsive to new challenges and opportunities as they arise. A gift of $5,000 or more enables you to be part of this growing group and to take advantage of insider benefits such as private briefings, tailored updates, special events, Roundtables and much more.

Advocates Circle: The Advocate Circle donors are the backbone of our private funding and critical to our growth and success as an organization. For a gift of $1,000 you can make impact on the future of New York’s precious environment and receive benefits such as our Greensheet newsletter, updates, invitations to special events and Roundtable forums.

For information joining the Director’s Council or Advocate Circle and on how you can help us grow while meeting others interested in making New York an environmental leader, please email Sarah Young, Director of Individual Giving at [email protected] or phone 646-716-1200.

Defenders: Defenders are critically important and growing group of donors across the state who make a gift of $250 or more. Benefits include invitations to regional events and our Greensheet NY publication.

Watchdogs: Part of our heritage is our monitoring of state government and ensuring that policies for the environment live up to their potential, hence the name Watchdog. Watchdogs start at $35 and receive our Greensheet NY publication.
