Clean Water

Ensuring clean, abundant and accessible water for all New Yorkers is one of our top priorities at Environmental Advocates NY.

We embrace a comprehensive and holistic approach in protecting water from source to tap. EANY is deeply committed to advocating for policies that restore and protect our water systems; prevent water contamination from emerging contaminants and other pollutants; ensure comprehensive water testing so New Yorkers know what’s in their water; and ensure that significant investments are made to repair, upgrade, and replace our state’s crumbling water infrastructure.

A critical part of our work is focused on building a statewide movement to ensure clean water for all New Yorkers. We work to strengthen our partnerships around the state and stand in solidarity with local elected officials, labor unions, watershed groups, environmental justice groups, and frontline communities struggling with water pollution and access to clean water.
