Erica joined Environmental Advocates in January 2006. She oversees communications strategy for the organization, including implementation of proactive and reactive media strategies and maintaining a consistent look and feel in all outreach materials, such as brochures, reports, newsletters, invitations and on-line content. 

Prior to joining Environmental Advocates, Erica worked as a Communications Specialist with the Capital Region Board of Cooperative Educational Services with assignment in the City School District of Albany.

Before moving to Albany, she served as a Senior Account Executive with Valerie Denney Communications, a public interest public relations firm in Chicago. As such, Erica worked with nonprofit organizations and institutions including the Chicago Public Schools, Safer Pest Control Project, the Chicago Community Trust, and the Lawyers' Committee for Better Housing.

Erica has a B.A. in English from Indiana University at Bloomington, and M.F.A. in creative writing from Colorado State University.
